Moderato And Nocturne  Benjamin Britten

Moderato and Nocturne is from the  Sonatina Romantica (1940) which Britten himself rejected. However, his Trustees felt that the first 2 movements (the Moderato And Nocturne) have both 'character and charm' and could play an inportant and useful role as teaching pieces.
