Six Little Duets Op 8 for Two Violins

Ignaz Pleyel, composer, piano maker and publisher, gave the music world a sheer unmanageable amount of published compositions during his lifetime, sometimes even in numerous edits. In the repertoire remained today mainly works for smaller chamber music. Some duos for violin, for example, claim their place among lovers and in the classroom, among them especially the "Little Duos in ascending difficulty", which appeared in print in 1806 (according to the title page!) "At the urging of several professors". The G. Henle Verlag now presents these easy playing pieces in a urtext edition - in score and two separate parts, for optimal use on every occasion.
